TRADITIONAL FISHERMAN

Come and explore the exitement of beeing a traditional fisher on Fedje Island. The local fisherman have for several century used nets, traps, fish pots and longline to manage to keep alive at the Norwegian coast based on what the nature can give. The catch have been used fresh or coserved.

 

Adventures from sea to table 

On this activity you join a local and pull up nets, traps and pots. We are cleaning the fish and prepare it for cooking. We are finishing with a meal made from your catch .

 

The rest of the catch you can take along if you like! 

 

Duration  2-4 hours  2-6 person

Price Nkr 2400  Menu: Cooked cod with potatoes and sauce
